Troop 27 was chartered in #### and is sponsored by Christ the King Lutheran Church. It boasts ### Eagle Scouts and counting.
We belong to the Flaming Arrow District of the Sam Houston Area Council. Troop 27 is 1 of 18 Boy Scout of America Troops that serve the Atascocita/Humble/Kingwood Area.
Like most other BSA troops, Troop 27 is boy led. The scouts are responsible for their schedule and events, as well as mentoring and encouraging the younger scouts as they advance through the ranks. Adult leadership provides support by providing merit badge and advancement counseling, program guidance, and support as needed.
Boys are placed in patrols based on age and rank. Troop 27's smaller patrols allow scouts many leadership opportunities enabling them to advance in rank more quickly than those in larger groups.
For Webelos, Boy Scouts is your next step along the path you have started. For the other new scouts you have just begun an exciting new journey. Scouting is a rewarding adventure guiding you as you mature and grow in skills, leadership, and confidence.
